No... But all flip flopping with eventually come out with the rinse. I think a lot of what is said is political right now. Equivocating for me is not flip flopping. I think it is prudent for any person...to change his/her mind. To admit to being wrong. In my estimation it makes him a bigger person and I can accept the changes..

I can understand for example why Kerry went to war gung ho and then after he was there ..VIET NAM and saw what the apparent (like alleged)futility of it was he changed his mind. ( incidentally I am not really thrilled with Kerry ) so understand that I am just supporting his flip flop as you call it because you used him as the example.

This would be my wish for everyone who posts on the S.I. boards, the ability to change one's mind if the facts that are presented are persuasive enough. If the writer of those facts is trustworthy...

Here, however we continually bog down in the same rhetoric.. the Bush haters, the Clinton haters... the Kerry hater...

If Bush would admit to being wrong, or having misjudged based on erroneous opinions of the Intelligence of his advisors I would have a lot more respect for him. I would not call it flip flopping but intelligent change of mind.
