Dukakis was up 15% at the beginning of the summer then lost big. FORREST GUMP was just one of many reasons but it mattered. Did you know Forrest Gump may have put Bush Sr. in office? It came out right before the election and was very critical of anyone who protested the Vietnam War, unfairly so I might add. You are a F'n buffoon!! What the hell does Forrest Gump have to do with Bush 41 v. Dukakis? FORREST GUMP, the book, was published in 1986. FORREST GUMP, the movie, was released in July 1994.
