North Carolina still close in the polls. Too close for comfort if I was sitting in the Bush White House. John Edwards on the VP ticket would certainly pull Kerry to even or perhaps slightly ahead of Bush in NC. This it the second poll in as many weeks that showed the race in NC within 5%.
