Trouble with the housing bubble is unlike the stock bubble you don't have the option of selling the asset and walking away, on account of you have to live somewhere.

I know people who want to sell and cash in the profits, but the new house they would move to would also be overvalued, and living in an apartment isn't too keen a solution for a family of five.
