Larry Elder is a freak of nature. He is a black man who doesn't like black pride. He wants to pretend race doesn't exist. Also, the rightwing has rewarded him well for being one of the few blacks to be a conservative. The rightwing will always promote a black to a visible position if he/she's willing to not make trouble. Look at Condi Rice. She was not at all qualified to be national security advisor. She knew almost nothing about terrorism.
