It was great. 55 miles in by (good) dirt road, not another vehicle. Ditto going out. No electricity or water (piped) in the entire valley (Monitor). Camped at the mouth of a canyon.... constant cooling breezes, and we needed them. Gorgeous. My car is in the body shop... minor accident about a month ago. Rental that I had last week couldn't go to Nevada... found out on Friday, just before I had to leave. Turned it in, and went to Hertz (no restriction to CA). Only car they had left was a Mustang with about four inches of clearance. No problem, only had to get slightly inventive or slow a bit on rare occasions, but... was really sweating it until I got all the way in. Bummer news upon return. SEC has to look at the news-predicting nature of the sell off. Santi sucks, regardless the source of the leak. He needs to get the hell out of biotech.
