The jump drive market is really quite amazing. At my company all sales reps (about fifty) were just issued low density flash drives (Kingston, I think) to use as portable back-up devices for presentations. This after one of the road warriers had a PC problem on the road. There were other computers available....but his had been the only one loaded with the presentation. Company decided issuing flash drives was an inexpensive way to avoid this problem in the future, and to ensure data created on the road was safely backed up before it could be returned to the office and saved on the server.

This company does not just go out and buy stuff, so I thought it interesting that it made such a broad decision. We were burning CDs and relying on hard drives for initial back up....looks like a sea change for our reps.
