Jim,

My point was that this forum fosters people complaining about their unique situations. It's a natural human tendency to point out the negatives in life -- check the nightly newscasts for one example.

All I'm trying to do here is inform, educate and provide POSSIBLE explanations. If you wish to discard everything I say and continue to believe that 10,000 people work at Schwab whose sole purpose in life is to cheat, rob and steal then that's your prerogative. It is apparent you have lost all objectivity on this subject. That's not a knock on you, but just an observation and a likely accurate one.

I am not a Schwab spokeperson by any stretch. However, I DO know trading because its my career to know it. Most of the complaints voiced here sound to me like the individuals are not completely informed of all the nuances and dynamics of order processing on the various exchanges, including yourself. That's nothing to be offended by since primarily only people who do it for a living have a need to know. These rules, etc. are not secrets though; its just that the public doesn't seek them out. You can go the exchanges and purchase rule books at any time; they are updated at least yearly. You can't fault a doctor for knowing the heart better than you and the same goes for traders.

You will no doubt go on in your crusade and this is America so you are entitled. I don't know of any business, even a fraction of Schwab's size, who has 100% customer satisfaction. On the flip side, they didn't get where they are with 0% either so they must be doing something right. Your categorical conclusions are simply unreasonable.
