I agree with your technical analysis and I also like the cup with a handle that is now forming. It's a great pattern to break out from. I believe this pattern forms from the smart money which follows the stock. I see the pattern in stocks that are sound but get ahead of themselves. The profit takers do their thing but as the stock declines it meets support and eventually buying pressure exceeds selling. I'm not as sure as to what causes the following handle other than a fair price is worked out. The breakout is generally caused by good news - which is not unusual because this pattern is happening to a good sound stock.
