Here is why I no longer buy leftist newspapers:
I am a husband, a follower of The Christ, who is devoted to one wife for life, and who has several children. This means the leftist media are dealing insults and lies toward me constantly as they market sex (which my values inform me should be private and intensely intimate), homosexuality (which even nature itself declares is inhuman), violence, hyperconsumption, abortion, godlessness and heathen gods. All of these things are now inherent to leftist media and they are all against my worldview, against the superior culture by which I live and that I have taught my children. To willingly bring leftist trash into my home would be to embrace that which is hostile to me, my family, the heritage I have received and the legacy I aim to leave. To actually pay for such trash is to insult myself.
The leftist media have apparently figured out that it is easy to make a buck by pushing lies and immorality. It is a product that they sell; and if Americans wish to buy this product it is their right to do so. I am not interested in changing them or passing laws to force them to act as I would. As they sink ever into the abyss of leftism, I will simply continue to consume superior information products. |
