Tell us please who is trying to take away the right to own a gun? John Kerry is a life-long hunter, gun owner, marksman and military hero. GW so far as I know has never fired a weapon in his life.

What every common sense person wants is to make sure assault rifles are not out there for anyone to buy, and that we know who owns all these freaking guns. Also we need to keep guns out of the hands of kids, the unstable or criminal people.

You probably think Charlie Manson should get out of prison and be able to have an arsenal. And you think cops should be out-gunned by civilians. Well guess what, there are a lot of dangerous people out there who will abuse gun rights. We have to make sure we know who they are. Guns do kill. And the NRA tells a lot of lies. They are not about the right to hunt, they are about the right to kill people.
