Janet P,

Coit Tower is ANYTHING but off the beaten track. You are able to see it from almost every point in San Francisco and most of Marin County! (Well, maybe I exaggerate just a little.)

BTW, one of the most important things to remember if you come for a visit is never to say "Frisco." That is a harsh truth I learned when I was still an ignorant and backward resident of Southern California.

Re saint for investors: Saint Silicon is a good one. Let's revive him. His name is Jeffrey Armstrong. Last known address was Santa Cruz. He wrote one of the funniest computer books ever, "The Binary Bible," about ten years ago but seems to be lost to computer lore. The book is a must-read and a real hoot--even for people who are not all that computer literate. Oh yes, he was into Macs. Who knows, maybe he'd be willing to turn an interest toward Wall Street.

Holly

p.s. A Very Happy Birthday to you, although a tad belated for your time zone. (It's still today here.) Just remember: even though you are getting older it is preferable to the alternative. <g>
