The "flipflop" charge is a big lie and Bushies know it. What they are really complaining about is the fact that they cannot find a single too-liberal policy in Kerry's entire campaign. But back in the 70's or 80's he was more liberal. So what? Back in the 70's and 80's Bush was a playboy alcoholic slacker. People grow and change.

Also, two points, Bush is a HUGE flipflopper. Just look at how he handed over Iraq to the UN and Iraqis after the Abu Graib scandal when he swore he was going to stand his ground. Look at hiom talking "compassion" again now (every four years) after breaking every compassion promise he ever made.

Finally, there is nothing wrong with Kerry picking a better way to do a certain program. Take any Bush bill and you will find huge ways to make it better. The problem is the far right and big corporate lobbyists won't allow it. That is what Kerry stands up for. The 87 billion never should have been passed the way it was as pure debt without any accountability. Kerry tried to get it done more responsibly and now you so-called conservatives blame him for being fiscally more conservative.
