Full scale military action is a pretty nasty prospect, for a whole lot of reasons. I'm not sure the political will is there. We have a real "Tasmanian devil" of a military now. It is obvious it can go through any force in the world like the proverbial "hot knife." And we have learned from Iraq the perils of occupation. I see the threat of a corps size "raid" as a real possibility if the Mullahs won't cave.
