EUR: Russia's central bank has set the wheels in motion for a major shift in its fx operations. The deputy head of its department for open markets, Sergey Kamburov commented Weds that in early July Russia would peg the ruble to a basket of consisting of just the dollar and euro. The initial weighting have yet to be agreed but he said there would be a gradual shift to 50:50.
