I think the biggest problem with Air America is that its existence assumes that liberals want to listen to political talk radio.

I don't have much of an interest in it, and I doubt many other people do, because otherwise those programs would already exist. Radio stations are in it for the money, they will give their listeners whatever they want to hear.

I think the only liberal radio show that could possibly be successful is one featuring James Carville. He's an attack dog, and people like listening to attack dogs.

Nobody has an interest in hearing someone be calm and reasonable.
