No- it was not "just the same"- I know why you want it to be the same, but it is not. Purpose has to go in to the mix of how we liberated, method, has to go in to the mix, and the result desired has to go in to the mix. You could have said there were similar elements- but trying to say we've treated the Iraqis with "compassion"? Maybe you would have liked us to treat them that way- but looking at what is happening to the folks there, and the folks who are detained (most of them apparently innocent), I think we could all wish to be spared such "compassion". I know I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of our compassion.
