Andy, I've been trying to figure out why you constantly tell everyone on this thread to "sell their Cube holdings and take whatever cash they can from their investment". At first, I thought you were short the stock. But you claim your not short Cube. I then wonder why are your attacks on most people who are long Cube on this thread so unusually personal? I think what we have here is the shrill and bitter voice of a Cube long who got burnt by his investment. But is your loss a reason to resent other peoples gains? Just because you may have sold at a loss is no reason to tell other people to sell.
As for returns, why are some people up over 50% in the last month and you are still bitter about your losses. The time element counts, doesn't it? You buy and sell at the wrong time, you lose money. You do it at the right time, you make money. Very simple. The Almighty Chart, which you disdain, happens to help determine good entry and exit points. If you studied the chart and took it seriously, it might help you to become a better investor. I have used the chart to target a significant double bottom in Cube at $17, as well as determine key technical breakout points at 22.25 and 26. Cube came mighty close yesterday to my target of 30. You should be happy now: I sold my position, which was 10,000 shares at 28.875 yesterday. That was a gain of 7.5 points in three months, over 35%. I owe this gain to my study of the Almighty Chart! I sold it because I am a disciplined value investor and when the momentum players enter a stock, I leave shortly thereafter. The momentum players have no mercy and take no prisoners. When they have had their fill, they leave making you feel empty and poorer. The name of the game in the stock market is to take your profits! Cube may go to 50, but I won't look back. I am a winner here and will always look back on this short term investment favorably. You see I'm smiling, :) and there is nothing you can say or do which will stop me from smiling :). I hope Cube skyrockets to the moon for the rest of you, but the Almighty Chart tells me it will need to retest 26 again first. Good luck and be good!
