Mike, the only polls I look at are the ones at RealClear Politics. (Mainly because no one poll is all that accurate) It lists the current results of the major pollers nationally, in state contests, Presidential job approval ratings, and Bush v. Kerry and Bush v. Kerry v. Nader. It also shows trends. Based on the state polls, Bush looks stronger than he does if you just look at the national polls. As for eliminating the electoral college, I'm not convinced. Was 2000 an anomaly or not? This year should tell us.
