With options vesting after 5 years and having another 5 years of lifetime, can you tell me which options exercised in any given year were 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 years old? Can you tell me which of these had split 1,2 or 3 times?

Au contrair! Your theory is still pure conjecture, as I said a few posts ago. Pick up the argument again sometime .. when you've got some numbers to support it.

The burden is not mine. Your opinion is that LIFO is the only way to judge impact on shareholders but that doesn't have to be so. I guess it just looks right to you so you think it stands unless someone goes to lengths to disprove it with detailed data. Too much trouble for me with no ROI. My only point was to show that FIFO is a reasonable alternative and I've done that. The fact that you're not convinced that the data proves it is of far more concern to you than it is to me. It is plausible and I see no data to disprove it. Probably not worth the trouble to you to dig it up either. I don't have to prove my point. I only need to show your's isn't the only way to look at things.
