Fahrenheit is accounting for 48% of all advance ticket sales.

I think it will do closer to $18,000,000 the first weekend, rather than the $15,000,000 I predicted. 868 isn't many screens, but a daily take per screen of $8,000 would get it to over $20m for the first weekend.

I think the reason it didn't get more screens is theaters are saving screens for Spiderman 2 ... but that movie should kill off Shrek 2, maybe letting Moore pick up 400-500 additional screens.

As Passion of the Christ showed, all the theaters care about is filling seats, controversy be damned.
