So far, the Yucca mountain issue seems like a dud.

You think? The people I know are really angry about it.

But, I am something of an environmentalist which means my buddies have the same disposition. May not be reflective of the overall public.

A few weeks ago I was flipping the channels and happened to see Wayne Newton of all people in a Bush rally in NV. He gave a little speech with an off color joke about how doctors can sew on people's limbs that were ripped off from some injury, and they recently sewed together a horse and donkey and he's running as the dem candidate for president (Kerry is a horses ass in other words)

After watching this dispicable statement I wondered how that went over with even the republicans. I am sick of this level of disgusting discourse from republicans whether it is an offensive joke at a convention, or impeaching a president for sex, or "looking the other way" when prison rape is being encouraged. I am sick of these people.
