America has always had an anti-intellectual bent. Let's face it, most of America consists of "C" students and below, as predicted by the bell curve of normal distribution. Bush is their man. The more moronic he appears, the more elevated they feel. Finally, a President who isn't one of the "elites", and despises the very same elites they feel inferior to as well. A President who doesn't act with careful deliberation, but reacts with understandable emotion. A mediocre champion of the mediocre in America.
