Being convinced that one is right, and being right are two different things. Is not "right" a subjective judgement? If I really, truly believe I'm right, am I not right, at least in my own mind, regardless of what you think? Or are you saying the only way to be right is to follow the herd?

The notion of "holy war," is actually self-contradicting. If God really wants one side to win, they will win regardless of the actions of men. If God is really on your side, then there is no need to be a terrorist.
