Bill Clinton's Secretary of Defense said that there was a link between al Qaeda and Iraq (and development of chemical weapons) in the Sudan. This the reason that the United States blew up the only drug manufacturing plant in the Sudan (1998). So, you can believe William Cohen in his sworn testimony to the 9.11 Commission, or you can believe Al Gore - who, I guess, believes that President Clinton ordered the destruction of the plant to divert attention from Monica Lewinsky.
