>> Are there any decent ways to learn about options?

A popular book for beginners is Michael Thomsett's Getting Started in Options, 4th Ed. If that's too basic, you might try Lawrence McMIllan's book (Options as a Strategic Investment, 3rd ed,). It's considered to be the bible of options trading.
