Irkutskenergo to be reorganized to holding with divisions corresponding to profile businesses. 25 June 2004 12:53 Irkutskenergo will be reorganized to a holding over the reform with the divisions corresponding to the profile businesses, Irkutskenergo GD V. Kolmogorov told the reporters after the AGM. Non-core assets will be outsourced to 100% subs of Irkutskenergo. Heating plants will be consolidated to set up heating units; generation assets, incl. heating and hydropower assets, are to be preserved in a uniform company. Backbone grid assets are to be split off to the grid group within Irkutskenergo. It is necessary to preserve Irkutskenergo as a management company, in particular, for the generation assets, V. Kolmogorov pointed out.
