Andrew and Thread, A thought i had at 3am follows. Given that our success in the WOT is more important than reelection and that a bold strategy now will actually help the President and also given that the animals are out of the cage in irag, lets step up our attacks in iraq. Lets kill the bad guys and over the next several months ignore the campaign and be commander in chief. Worse case scenario is that he loses but on 1/20 turns over a far safer world to kerry. In short lets do the things that are necessary and politics be damned. Mike PS Now that cheney used the f word at Patrick leahy(which i love) he can easily drop out of the race fbo the pres. No heart excuses--jusst say the halliburton bs wont go away and will hurt bush chances. The other side of my aggressive prescription for bush is an offer to McCain to be veep on the republican version of a unity ticket. Or is Zell Miller smart enought to be Veep? Just heard him on imus and he puts most republicans to shame in the way he supports this country and this admin. This regime needs to show some imagination now and some guts. Be Harry Truman!
