State-run stake in Irkutskenergo unlikely to make private in 2005, S. Kosarev says.

2005 privatization program is most likely to be made out with no 40% state-run stake in Irkutskenergo included, Sergei Kosarev, former deputy property minister and today's head of property settlement dept. at RAO UES, said after the company's AGM.

In case such stake is put up for the auction, neither RAO UES, no any companies affiliated with it, may take part in the trading as the government holds over 25% in RAO UES. Russia's legislation prevents the companies with the state-run stakes above 25% from taking part in privatization of any other company
