Yeah, that's where we gassed up. Nice town, I liked it. You split from 50 just a bit further east and head like an arrow southeast across Great Smoky Valley and across the mountain range ahead (where there are great petroglyphs). Then south through Monitor Valley to a campsite that a friend doesn't want described, online.

But any biologist will have a blast, exploring a stream that vents on the southern side of Diana's Punch Bowl.....
