Hi Rob,

I'm surprised that the industry has not given Oracle more credit for what can only be called a brilliant acquisition plan.

Let's face it when you are #1 in data base management - your only growth area is smaller firms.

I think the biggest asset gained from this attempted acquisition is a small army of sales force reps.

With 10 G reatime application cluster computing and Intel and Dell with your software loaded from the factory - the only thing you need is a larger sales force.

The sales force alreadt trained is a huge plus - well worth paying a premium for.

If you land a good company and its growth explode - you work them up into database management and growth is achieved at all levels.

It is a good plan.

I believe they will achieve it and the view of this company will reverse 180 degrees.
