Where is the evidence that he aided and protected members of Al Qaeda? He did aid and protect anti-Israel terrorists. But imo that is Israel's problem. Other than that, Saddam committed bad acts against Iran, Shiites, Kurds and Kuwait. Personally I don't give a rat's ass about Iran, Shiites, Kurds or Kuwait.
