Perhaps we should compare IQ's ---"bright posters"-----"quality gone way down". I put in a couple of late nights this week and worked through lunch today, so I knocked off early and went by the Oasis in Menlo Park on my way home. While my usual was being grilled, I went over to the bar for a small pitcher of Anchor Steam and overheard a couple of people who were saying: "Hey, my IQ's 175. What's yours?" "Mine's 180. Let's talk about quantum chromodynamics and string theory!" I could understand most of their discussion, but my concentration was really on how hungry I was. When my name was called, I picked up my O. D. and could overhear a man and a woman waiting in line: "My IQ's 105, what's yours?" "Cool, mine's 100. Let's talk about Joe Granville and Elaine Garzarelli!" As I headed out to the patio, there were a couple of guys playing pinball by the door, and I heard them say: "You know, my IQ's 30. How about you?" "It's 25. Do you like SUNW or SGI?"
