i'm with you sargent...I phoned rick gonzalez, the cfo at Byx this past tues...he said they are looking at a "great fourth quarter" their backlog and orders are at record,production is running 24hrs 7 days a week and steel prices are up and stable. when i asked what hitches he saw that could sidetrack any good news, he cited only one....Entergy is our power provider here in SE La. BYX is the 10th largest userin the state. The have had turnarounds (shutdowns) for maintenance at their waterford III nuke site that lasted 12 weeks instead of the planned 4. In such a situation Entergy buys power from TVA at a premium and yada yada yada... The power adjustment surcharge is an additional 1/2 million dollars. This will put a crimp in earnings, but things still look very good.....(says he) FWIW I passed the plant at lunch...there were about 20 tractor trailers delivering scrap steel to a pile about 100 ft high and as broad as a football field.
