Fortunately for this country, only the 5% most radical rightwing extremists would agree with your idious "commie baiting".

As for what Bush-cheney have done with communism, they have helped make China even richer and more powerful, letting hundreds of thousands of US jobs fly over there. They at first saber-rattled at North Korea and called them "evil", but just provoked more nuclear danger, so now they've flipflopped back to the very Clinton approach they vilified at first. They have made Castro stronger with a clumsy Cuban policy Floridian Cubans don't even like. Cuba had been getting beter. Now it's gotten worse again.

And Nicaragua is and always was just a small banana republic incapable of threatening us. All its people wanted was a bit of freedom from the rightwing imperial corporate dominance. Maybe they've finally got that. I don't know. A Contra War there would have been a terrible thing. One of the worst ideas the US ever had. Reagan apologized for Iran-Contra. Bush should apologize too.

In fact, Nicaragua's probably a great place to travel to now to experience was Mexico was like 50 years ago. With the weak Bush dollar it's one of those few places Americans can afford to go as well.
