I agree. It was worse than I thought- partly because when you see Moore's film you see it ALL AT ONCE. Taking in the news, what news we get, we get it in dribs and drabs. You tend to forget that this guy worked for Cheney's company, or that guy was a pal of daddy Bush. But when you see it all at once- well- it's what you said "America is in deep cow dung." The Iraq war was a mistake. I think that is becoming evidence to most people (thought it never will be evident to all, we just have to face that.) Now we have to move on from here, in the best way we can, given a very bad situation.

I wish someone other than Kerry was leading the democratic charge, but since Kerry has not yet gotten America into a senseless war, costing billions, diverting funds from fighting real terrorists, and which may prove disastrous to an entire region, I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. If he does something on the same scale as Bush's tragic adventure, I'll want him out also.
