Duh! I'm ignorant. LOL! Like how many Americans know that in England they pay more than $6.00/gal for gasoline (petrol as they call it)? How many Americans know that we haven't raised our milage standards since 1987 and that our actual average milage has fallen by 2 mpgs since then? Not many. It's the ignorant masses who vote knee-jerk Republican who don't know these facts. I'll tell you what I'm certainly not proud of. I'm not proud of the fact that our country is sending our young men and women into a war in the oil rich Middle East, when there are clearly alternatives that have been ignored for decades. From conservation to alt.fuel vehicles, there are plenty of options besides bullying our way into the oil fields.
