Joe, FYI looks like the current Ask before open is $7 5/8. I'm sure this number will change before 9:30. I wouldn't be surprised to see mid $6's sometime today. Who knows where NOVL will close. Eric Sh***t didn't say anything significant on CNBC last night. He seems to think they have an "ace in the hole" with intranets (what a joke). Though he may fool a few analysts into believing this for a little while.. The company I work for has 40+ Novell Servers today. In 2 years that number will be zero. All the software vendors we use are going to NT. Novell waited too long. I guess there still may be some potential NOVL investors. Anything is possible. There are still people buying Apple. Anyway, you may want to keep an eye on the pre-open NOVL price. If you can get out around $7 1/2, you may want to short it to $6 1/2, then cover. Make a few bucks on the downside.
