AS, Kerry is committed to uniting the maximum amount of Americans and reaching out to Republicans.

Of course, that's why he flip-flops so often, because he wants it both ways. And if you challenge him on that, he'll toss up a lot of lawyer-like B.S., with an attitude that reflects his arrogance.

Even now, Kerry can't gain a real lead on Bush in the polls. And that's really sad if you think about it. You don't know how many "Anyone But Bush" people are out there who are very nervous about the kind of bozo the Democrats will be nominating as their candidate.

If McCain would accept he'd be his running mate.

Nice try. McCain is supporting Bush. Kerry is trying to use McCain to make himself look "moderate." McCain isn't falling for it, because among other things, his IQ isn't as low as the typical Kerry-worshipper on SI.
