<<...Moore realizes that most Americans don't really read. So a comic book kind of polemic is the only thing that will get the public revved up...>>

john: That is SO TRUE...Last night I went to the film in conservative Southwest Michigan where I am working on a project...the 5pm show was sold out (and so were ALL the Fahrenheit 9/11 showings the theater had run over the weekend)...the theater last night was full of students, professors, veterans, retired folks and many others...every seat was taken...It was a VERY POWERFUL film that could provoke, delight or maybe even divide an audience...It is clear that NO ONE will react indifferently to this shocking, sad and at times funny look at the Bush Administration's handling of terrorism and the tragic Iraqi war...There was A LOT of clapping at the end of the film and I think that was just the beginning of some healthy discussion...the film will enlighten, educate and stimulate a national debate.
