>My daughter just called from school. Her Arab roommate had been to see it. My daughter said she didn't know whether to believe the roommate (who, of course, LOVED the film) or me -- after all, for all she knows I've been brainwashing her for 23 years. LOL.

I saw it last night -- bad idea to see it so early after the release; the theater was oversold and I had to sit on the floor.

Good film, but there wasn't a lot of new stuff in it; it was old stuff in new (pretty effective packaging).

If you go see it and are for the war in Iraq, you'll walk out and say, "Eh", and if you are against the war, you'll leave the theater infuriated and further wondering why our soldiers are dying.

I personally, as you know, am in that second camp. I'm pretty pissed off this morning, especially since this week I'm going to see my friend for the last time before he's shipped off to Iraq. I do not want him to go.
