From a pool of over 90 nominees, three finalists were selected in each category. A group of neutral third party marketing experts was appointed by LinkShare to its E-Commerce Committee to judge the entries and select the winners. Judges included Sergio Zyman, Chairman and CEO of Zyman Group; Kent Allen, Research Director at Aberdeen Group; Mark Walsh, Managing Partner at Ruxton Ventures; Andy Sernovitz, President and CEO of GasPedal Ventures; and Mark Goldstein, CEO of InStorecard, Inc. The evening was hosted by stand-up comedian Robert Schimmel, who has appeared in his own Showtime and HBO specials, and on The Howard Stern Show.
