I just came from seeing the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. Powerful stuff. You should check it out, seriously. The movie was interesting on many levels and reports on events surrounding 911 that I find very curious. For instance, immediately after the attacks on New York and Washington air traffic everywhere in the U.S. was grounded for a number of days. However, a number of commercial flights were allowed, specifically 24 members of bin Ladens family were permitted to leave the U.S. I wonder why that would be, normally, when, let's say I kill 1 or 3,000 people, the police would, I think, interview family members of the murderer, at least get a subpoena to get some testimony under oath. Why, Srex, do you think the President allowed bin's relatives safe passage out of the country immediately in the aftermath of 911?
"Weird that you support the killers and blame us"
The movie's contention is that Iraq posed no threat to the United States (at least not the threat the president said we were faced with), if true, perhaps there is some blame to be brought on us. |
