To blame bush for waiting seven minutes, while waiting for information and clarification before exiting the classroom is just plain malicious. And it is just plain dumb for you and your lefy friends to accept moores interpetation as the holy grail. mike

Well, and a hello to you, Mike. Looks like you found the wrong side of the bed this morning.

The 7 minutes are the time after he learned of the second plane hitting the WTC and his actually leaving the classroom. That's a very, very long time in a crisis.

We could go back and fault him for his reaction to the first plane. When he heard about it, not mentioned in the Moore film, he said something about a screwy small plane pilot, whereas Tenet worried immediately about Al Qaeda. Tenet was doing his job; Bush was not.

Still Bush went ahead with the classroom stuff. Then, waited 7 minutes after his chief of staff told him about the second plane, before he left the classroom.

Can you even begin to imagine what the right wing would have said about friend Clinton or friend Gore had they done that. Unprintable. At least on a family friend place like this one.
