Dave, I have NG through Fidelity 403b, plus PM through the Fido acct plus Vanguard 403b (that fund is now closed to new investments though). Not all plans are the same, of course, as it depends on your employer. My Fido option gives me 64 funds, less for the others. TIAA/CREF is one of the 403b options, previously the only one years ago but now one of 5 companies, I think. Everything else I mentioned is in an IRA or two.
