I think the difference between those of us who are against Bush's election (not reelection because he was defeated) and those of you who are "behind" the President is that most of us do not trust Kerry either. We don't like either of them.
You, however, seem to slavishly believe every thing they say similar to those who support hereditary leaders like kings, or the Tory's during the American revolution. We have adopted a suspicious view of government or BIG BUSINESS due to years of experience, (Watergate, Vietnam, Irangate, Halliburton, Worldcom, Enron) with liars and cheats at the top in both parties, similar to the founding fathers suspicion of powerful leaders. Government, BIG BUSINESS same thing. Lazy, corrupt people who have found ways (usually dishonest) to control the output of honest hard working people.
The topic in discussions in groups I attend is not how great Kerry is but how utterly horrible Bush is. As a matter of fact the consensus seems to be first get rid of Bush then well deal with Kerry. Those of us who voted for third party candidates will probably go back to voting for third parties after Bush is redefeated. I for one would like to punish the Democrats kowtowing up to Big Business.
This should be some consolation to the idolatrous right wing after November.
Ha ha. It's funny that Bush has engendered a new word in the English language: redefeat |
