It's been said a thousand times before. Arafat elected Sharon. Arafat was at the negotiating table with Barak and Clinton and started his suicide bombing campaign. That brought the vote out for Sharon. At least with Israel the political climate changes with each election or at least it can. But Arafat, gosh, we'll have to wait for him to die or go senile. Until then....
