It has been interesting to me to watch media coverage of today's events. Amazing that they can criticize what occurred. We have freed a sizable country, eliminated a threat to the rest of the world, and installed the makings of a democracy -- in a little over a year. And handed the people a functioning government -- although one that will require support for a while.

Quite an accomplishment. More violence is likely, but it will decline over time. It is difficult to imagine a greater success. The loss of a thousand Americans is a tough pill to swallow, but the Left was predicting much worse numbers beforehand (as usual) and were way, way off, also as usual.
