The Kurds do have the most secure region.
The real trouble is the rest of the country. There is not a single secure region elsewhere in Iraq including Baghdad. This signifies an enormous failure by the civilian leadership in DC. IT does not signify any lack of effort by our troops. They are doing great despite the miscalculations at the top.
