Mike, I thought you "got it." He's winking through the whole thing. It doesn't matter if it's true or logical or reasonable. It only matters that it makes an impression that resonates. He's playing the same game that Limbaugh has played so well. Those who are analyzing his message for fact and fiction and logic are in the wrong ballpark.

I must admit that I'm finding this sad and funny at the same time. I abhor what discourse in this country has come to. OTOH, if we have to have an arms race, I prefer to keep it even and it's always fascinating to watch people's reactions when the tables are turned on them, no matter how serious the stakes.
